MGM MIRAGE University Named to Training “Top 125”
LAS VEGAS – Feb. 11, 2008 –Training magazine has ranked the MGM MIRAGE University as one of the leading institutions in the U.S. for employee training and development programs. Ranked 55 out of 125 companies, MGM MIRAGE is the only major gaming and entertainment company to make the list for third consecutive year. The Training “Top 125” ranks organizations for excellence in training and development programs.
MGM MIRAGE was ranked ahead of Home Depot, Caterpillar, Cox Communication, Delta Airlines, Northwest Airlines, IKON Office Solutions and MasterCard Worldwide among others.
“To once again be named to this prestigious list further demonstrates MGM MIRAGE’s ongoing commitment to the development of its workforce,” said Barbara Hewitt, Executive Director of MGM Grand’s Training Center.
MGM MIRAGE offers a myriad of programs for on-boarding and developing employees at all levels, with a strong emphasis on leadership development, where classes are taught by top MGM MIRAGE executives, academics, business partners and training experts.

An outside research and statistical data company, under the guidance of Training magazine, scores companies and then Training editors subjectively review each application.
